About Tucson Green Times

Tucson Green Times is not a little tree-hugging paper. We are the third-largest free-circulation publication in the Tucson metropolitan area.

The independent and locally-owned lifestyles newspaper provides a local focus and a contemporary community voice for the exchange of ideas among individuals, organizations and businesses working together to create a vibrant local economy, and positive change for our community and a better planet.

The print version reaches 150,000 readers at more than 1,600 locations throughout Tucson and Oro Valley, and in selected Southern Arizona towns. Loyal readers pick it up every month at natural food markets, libraries, book stores, health food stores, clinics, colleges, high schools, colleges, universities, government and professional offices, non-profit organizations and private businesses.

The articles – written by professional freelance writers and residents of Tucson – cover local news and topics on sustainability, “green” homes and gardens, natural health, food and nutrition, regional arts, alternative energy, renewable resources, pets and wildlife, a non-toxic environment, and ways to lower individual carbon footprints.

Tucson Green Times is a major publication in Tucson using vegetable-based soy ink and 100% recycled newsprint — which means no trees were cut down to make our paper.

Display advertising is available in both the print version and online.
