Green Times Mission

We believe the collective “we” actually does create more of what we focus our thoughts on. Turning things around happens with intent, not fear. And we believe that reaching out to others, in good times and in hard times, is the human story that matters. A sense of helping people truly makes us a stronger community.

The first issue of Tucson Green Times hit the streets in October 2007, and we continue to meet our original mission of providing an upbeat, fresh voice for the exchange of ideas among local people, organizations, and businesses working to create a more sustainable city, a stronger local economy, and increased community dialogue for our collective future.

We strive to put familiar issues in a new perspective with articles that think outside the box – issues such as responsible business practices, sustainable technologies, advancing the frontiers of consciousness, alternative transportation, integrative medicine and holistic healing, organic farming, renewable energy, social activism and the promise of peace.

If you don’t like what you see on mainstream television or read in the mainstream press today, if you want a truly independent and local perspective with a positive punch and an interactive voice, chances are you’ll LOVE the Tucson Green Times.
